A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also had them long enough that I understand how they really perform, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

How does the sizing run?

I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair.

Since they don’t stretch and half sizes aren’t available, I’d recommend sizing up.

Is the comfort worth it?

Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in..

How durable are they?

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

How do they compare to other sneakers?

They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the shine on mine? Next-level.

Would you buy again?

Absolutely! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is smarter. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also be smart.
